An early interest for communications and different cultures<\/b> <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Born in France from a French mother and a German father, I grew up in a multilingual environment <\/strong>where half of my family was struggling to communicate with the other half, this resulting in situations that appeared to be either funny or frustrating, but always instructive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

My parents were frequent travelers and offered me the privilege of sharing these beautiful moments with them. There was not a single year without traveling somewhere around the globe. One of the things that I enjoyed the most was trying to communicate with people who were speaking a different language, as I felt greatly satisfied each time the message, as simple as it was, was successfully conveyed.
<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It was like receiving some kind of a reward for having accomplished a challenge when that same satisfaction was also visible on the face of my interlocutor.<\/p>

The family context and the discovery early in my life of different cultures thus contributed to the development of my perception <\/strong>and my emotional intelligence<\/strong>. Traveling is still one of the greatest passions of my life to this day, and allows me to satisfy my curiosity as well as my desire to discover new profiles and horizons.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

An almos<\/b>t innate passion for computer technologies <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

I received my first computer when I was 4\u00a0years old. It awakened the geek that was sleeping inside me. Although computers were relatively rudimentary at that time, I was quite fascinated very early on towards this universe which was not yet popular among the public.<\/p>

The huge advances of computer technologies and the democratization of the Internet during my youth revolutionized my life as well as the ones of my contemporaries.
We suddenly had access to a window giving us direct access to the whole world. A major change for a young boy like me who grew up in a small village that counts more cows than people of my age. Back in the days, we were not as much connected as we are today. Therefore being able to communicate, and share files in one single click with people living all around the world was quite remarkable.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

My early immersion in the computer world, and the fact that I was able to witness the exhilarating progress of these technologies throughout my childhood, helped me to develop a particular interest in this field. Subsequently, the development of the Internet, and then social networks further increased my curiosity<\/strong> for communications<\/strong> as well as technological tools<\/strong> to achieve it. Having an interest for computer tech didn't mean being isolated anymore. It rather allowed us to keep in touch with the whole world.<\/p>

\u00a0My two passions in life were finally together.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

My first step<\/b>s into adult life <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

When I was at school, I hesitated for quite a while between either following University studies in Communications or Computer science. I finally chose communications in foreign languages and translation.\u00a0<\/p>

However, after my studies, I still didn't know exactly which career was made for me. Therefore, I decided to step back and fulfill my dreams for travel and adventures to the fullest by living nearly 2 years in Australia.<\/p>

This experience was amazing for many different reasons. The most important one is that it helped me acquire the required maturity to achieve a seamless transition between student and professional life. \u00a0<\/p>

One year after I came back home, my reason was telling me to start a career and live a more sedentary (and comfortable) life. However, my heart still desired some more adventures. At least one more time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After tasting the arid climate of the Australian desert, I decided to discover the harsh Canadian winter.<\/p>

My initial goal was to maintain this lovely nomadic lifestyle that I had experienced in Australia. I wanted to stay in Canada for one or two years and live successively in Montreal, Toronto, and finally Vancouver.<\/p>

However, shortly after arriving in Montreal, I quickly realized that this city was meeting my needs and would become the place where I would settle.<\/p>

Why this place in particular? Well, on a beautiful summer day, while I was biking around the city, I felt like I had been traveling around the world. I heard successively speaking in French, English, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi and Creole during a 3-hour ride. That was the trigger! At that moment, this cosmopolitan city, with many green spaces and a technology-oriented economy, had become my new place of residence. \u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

An experience that made me grow<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Two years after arriving in Canada, I wanted to start building my future. I had found the ideal city, I now had to find a career in which I would flourish. Someone I knew advised me to apply for Rogers Communications. So I tried my luck and I ended up staying there for more than 7 years. I first held a position in customer relations and then went to the communications department. These professional experiences have been really beneficial to me.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The experience that I acquired during my time at customer relations allowed me to work in contact with the Canadian public across the country, and to learn more about their diversity, their needs, as well as their concerns.<\/p>

The years I spent within the communications department taught me graphic design skills, marketing methods, as well as expertise to write and translate a wide variety of messages as adequately as possible, depending on the targeted audience.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
